Thank you, I’m happy to hear that my words could help you. I don’t have an entire post on Habits, but I’m considering one as I believe in them as a fundamental part of the journey of living authentically. Our journey is unique for each of us, and the start point is always different. But, if you think perfectionism, emptiness, confusion, self-destruction, and things like that are your main challenges, you can read the Healing part on my website. I have a post about dopamine and serotonin based activities, you can read it on: don’t focus on being happy (link in the post). If you need practices to know yourself and make decisions, you can read Lifestyle part on the website. All in all, the content on my blog are connected and integrated, so each post looks at a part of a vision from different angle, I hope that you find the one that suits you best and it can help you a bit on your authentic journey of living.

I have few posts that can help in bad habits, distraction, laziness and addictions. First of all we need to understand the habit as bad to get rid of addiction. If is due to going for it just like a robot. We need to learn to live fully aware during the act. Rest happens on its own.

This was such a rich and deeply reflective read. I loved how you moved from the idea of meaning over motivation into such a layered exploration of authenticity, purpose, and clarity. The contrast between dopamine and serotonin was eye-opening, and the concept of anti-vision really stood out to me. It’s such a powerful way to define what truly matters by looking at what we want to avoid. So much food for thought here, thank you for sharing it so generously.

I quote “ When we talk about leaving a legacy or creating something meaningful, we often think of it as discovering a "true self" that is static and unchanging.”

And “ When you fully accept that time is limited, you stop clinging to the idea that you must 'figure out' your true self before you start living.”

These both statements are true.

Everyone on this planet is born with idea of discovering the “true self” by default. Only few intelligent people like you could actually dare to travel inside so far and try their best. Most of the people create illusion that getting more money, more power or more famous is actually the way to find the ‘true self’. Because they all think that finding our “true self” requires much time and life is short.

Finding our true self is not dependent on time but actually it depends upon intensity of our urge and that intensity makes us capable of taking courageous steps in life. Sometimes we are not ready to pay the price for finding the invaluable ‘real self’.

This I am writing after discovering my “true self” within six years of putting dedicated efforts for it. I needed to take voluntary retirement when a much awaited promotion was on anvil. Got myself indulged in solitude cutting myself from unnecessary friendship and relationship etc.

Yes, we need to stop clinging to the idea that first we have to figure out the “true self” before starting living. But there is silver lining in the dark cloud!

Osho has described ways to live in such a way that your living itself can become your journey to discover “true self” too. It is like flaying in the sky with two wings. He says that the idea of embarking on one journey at a time is very ancient and we need to modify it to cater to the need of the people of this time.

So he gave updated the older version of life to new one. I lived that way in my life (96% family life 4% personal life for discovering “true self” almost daily) raised my kids living in society and family and when i felt need to giving some dedicated efforts, as kids were about to settle, then I just reversed my dedication. It works! It works wonderfully!
